You can completely bypass (and cure) the pinch sensor issue with as little as a paperclip. All you need to do is unplug the two wire connector plugs from the aluminum pinch arms, and use the paperclip bent small enough to act as a joiner between the two connector plugs. Remove the globe and put the bonnet back on to see if the motor will go the whole way. If so, it’s likely an issue with too much weight in the globe.
