Phi Beta Kappa means you graduated in at least the top 10% of your class. It's really not a joke, however if you're Summa/Magna/Cum Laude then putting Phi Beta Kappa on a resume might be redundant. However, if there are programs where 10% of the class isn't even Cum Laude and you aren't Cum Laude, listing Phi Beta ....
